什么类型的短文，建议你看时事类的，主要积累一些时事点评的见解，英语作文都是给一件事接着让你陈述见解，那种文学类的就没什么用的，读完以后吧好的见解句记下接着背出，不然依然没用。
这只是一种积累和锻炼，如果靠这个压中考题几乎不可能。我举几许例子，比如自行车租赁，城市公交什么的，大多都是贴近生活的，极少会有几许冷门的比如铁杵磨成针等的寓言故事，但都离不开见解的称述。
